About Ram

Ram Polur is the Director of Clinical Informatics at Humanity X. Advanced data analytic techniques and technology at the intersection of medicine and public health are his passion. Ram has previously worked as an Epidemiologist in the Office of Cancer Prevention and Control at the Arizona Department of Health Services as well as the Maricopa County Department of Public Health. Ram has bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Biology, and an MPH in Epidemiology & Biostatistics. Ram’s interest in this project stems from his belief that well-directed disease prevention initiatives can have an outsized positive impact on the quality of life of individuals and communities. As a trained public health professional, he is a strong proponent in the economic value of disease prevention. The crossroads of technology, computational epidemiology, and social media analytics is fascinating and can yield many positive outcomes. Ram believes this project has tremendous potential and his diverse background will help navigate this project towards success.
